Lifestart aims to build confidence by reassuring parents about the normal phases of child development and by supporting them throughout the ups and downs of parenting. Lifestart is not just about preparing children for school although the programme will help parents with this. It is about giving children every opportunity to develop their minds, their bodies, their emotions and their ability to interact with others. By participating in the Lifestart Programme, parents are building a sound foundation for their children’s present and future learning and life experiences. |
Lifestart aims to increase knowledge about parenting and develop parenting skills by giving parents information and knowledge and by helping them to use this to promote their child’s learning and development.
