The Lifestart Foundation is happy to announce that a new Lifestart Office has now opened in Belfast.

Liz  Fleming who is the Lifestart Regional Development Officer for the area is the manager of the Belfast Office.  Denise Dorrian is the Lifestart Family Visitor for the area.

Lifestart Belfast works in partnership with the Edenderry Nursery School (www.edenderrynursery.co.uk) which is based at:  Upper Riga Street, Belfast BT13 3GW.

The recruitment of families to the longitudinal evaluation is now complete and an interim report is expected in the latter half of 2010. Families involved in the Evaluation are drawn from the following areas:

Derry (Waterside, Newbuildings, Maghermason, Maydown areas), Dungiven, Ballykelly, Limavady, Carlow, Kilkenny, Ballymun (Dublin), Offlay, Kildare, Dunkineely  and Killybegs (Co. Donegal).
